UIL Fee Schedule for 2017
TAPPS 2016 Recommended Pay Scale
Fees are established by the University Interscholastic League for all Varsity and Sub-Varsity games.

Mileage Reimbursement: (The Amarillo Chapter is a Non-Metro chapter.)

Non-metro: Portal to portal (round trip) officials will be reimbursed one car at the state rate, two cars at 75% of the state rate or three cars at 60% of the state rate (A $10.00 rider fee will only be paid to officials exceeding three person crews and three cars.)
- Officials shall be paid at the state mileage reimbursement rate in effect on August 1 of the current school year. (Currently $ .535 per mile, 1 car; $ .401, 2 cars; $ .321, 3 cars)
Meals: Schools shall not pay for any meals for official unless the distance traveled, round trip, from the official’s home to the game is greater than 150 miles. If meals are paid, the amount is $15.00 during the regular season and $30.00 during playoffs.
TASO CHAPTERS SHALL BE PAID FOR SCRIMMAGES USING THE FOLLOWING FEE SCHEDULE:
(FEES ARE BASED ON A THREE-HOUR SCRIMMAGE)
NOTE: AFTER THREE HOURS, EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR IS $50. THE FEES PAID ARE REGARDLESS OF THE LEVEL OF COMPETITION. THE FEE WILL BE PAID TO THE LOCAL CHAPTER AND NOT TO THE INDIVIDUAL OFFICIALS TO BE USED IN PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT OR SERVICE FEES. A PORTION OF THESE FEES SHOULD BE USED FOR EDUCATION. RETENTION AND RECRUITMENT OF OFFICIALS.
CHAPTERS AGREEING TO PROVIDE OFFICIALS AND CHARGE FOR THE SCRIMMAGES ARE UNDER OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE OFFICIALS FOR THE SCHOOL FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON, GRADES 7-12.
A CHAPTER REQUESTING A SERVICE/ASSIGNOR FEE FROM SCHOOLS WILL NOT BE A CHAPTER IN GOOD STANDING WITH TASO AND THUS NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR UIL POST-SEASON ASSIGNMENTS.
